1966- Shelley (KM)

John Shelley, a Kiwi based in Malta, designed this european chined design and campaigned it actively at many Championships. UK builder Bill McCutcheon made the best examples, and Tony Blachford won the UK Nationals in his Mk1 in 1967.

The MK2 McCutcheon Shelleys were reknowned for being the prettiest and best constructed Moths of their time and are sought out as prized possessions in the low-rider community.

Famously, UK Chas Reeves campaigned his winged version Mk3 Shelley to 2nd place in the World Championships in 1970
